Creatives for Climate Action - Thailand

In partnership with Creative Migration, The Convergence and Green Beyond Magazine, we co-designed several days of programming at Bangkok 1899 to host the first E+C Pavilion in Southeast Asia from June 28–29.

The E+C Pavilion program followed the Creatives for Climate Action - Thailand (CCAT) conference organized by U National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Cluster in Bangkok, the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), and Creative Migration from June 26–27. An opening event took place at Soho House Bangkok on June 25, followed by a Closing Reception at Bangkok 1899 on June 27, 2024.

ABOUT THE CCAT ORGANISERS

EUROPEAN UNION NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF CULTURE (EUNIC)

Creatives for Climate Action - Thailand is a project by EUNIC Cluster Thailand that is supported by Alliance Française, British Council, Goethe-Institut, Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, the Embassies of Austria, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain as well as the EUNIC Cluster Fund. EUNIC – European Union National Institutes for Culture – is Europe’s network of national cultural institutes and organizations, with 39 members from all EU Member States.

CREATIVE MIGRATION

Creative Migration, an international arts organization, is co-organizing CCAT. Its mission is to bring together cultural and climate diplomacy with a special focus on collaborative community building through intersectional practices. Its flagship space is Bangkok 1899 in Nang Loeng.

มูลนิธิ ครีเอทีฟ ไมเกรชั่น เป็นองค์กรศิลปะนานาชาติที่ร่วมจัดงาน CCAT ครั้งนี้ ครีเอทีฟ ไมเกรชั่น คือองค์กรนำโดยสุภาพสตรีซึ่งเน้นไปที่การส่งเสริมด้านวัฒนธรรมและสภาพภูมิอากาศ พร้อมกับการส่งเสริมชุมชนผ่านกิจกรรมต่างๆ Bangkok 1899 เป็นพื้นที่หลักขององค์กรนี้ ซึ่งอยู่ในใจกลางย่านนางเลิ้ง
